DVCPRO HD rental

The Panasonic AJ-HD1200A DVCPRO® HD/50/25, DVCAM and DV Player with DVCPRO HD® Recording and IEEE 1394 Interface. If you shot footage on any of the DVCPRO formats including on the Varicam or th eHDX900 or SDX900 (HD/50/25) you can easily bring it into Final Cut Pro or Avid DV Xpress Pro via firewire or into any SDI equipped editing system. This half-rack unit is very portable and would be easy to integrate into most suites. Free delivery also available to San Francisco and the East Bay with advanced notice. DVCPRO 50/25 rental

The DVCPRO50/25 Studio VTR is a versatile, cost-effective, high-end designed for digital video production and post. Recording time of up to 92 minutes on DVCPRO50 cassettes, 184 minutes on DVCPRO 25. Playback and recording of 4:2:2 component video with 3:3:1 compression. Two or four-channel digital audio sampled at 48 kHz with 16-bit quantization for superb sound. Provided with SDI, AES/EBU audio and analog interfaces for versatility. Slow-motion playback at -0.43x to +0.43x, 0.5x and 0.75x normal in both DVCPRO50 and DVCPRO modes

AJ-SD93   $250/day

At NAB 2004 Panasonic introduced the new AJ-SD93, DVCPRO 50/25 Half Rack VTR with DVCAM and DV Playback and IEEE 1394 Interface. Facilitate 4:2:2 quality video transfers at 50Mbps over IEEE 1394 to nonlinear editing systems. This deck also has SDI inputs and outputs.

The AJ-SD93 can also record on medium or large DVCPRO cassettes with a maximum record time of 184 minutes (92 minutes in DVCPRO50). It can play back DVCPRO50, DVCPRO, DV and DVCAM tapes. The AJ-SD93 is a half rack deck making a great choice for transporting or for use in the field.

With Apple's Final Cut Pro 4.0, the AJ-SD93 can operate with a native DV50 stream over IEEE 1394.

HDCAM decks

Sony SRW-5500 HDCAM SR Deck

The SRW-5500 is Sony's first dual format recorder. Switchable between Sony's HDCAM and HDCAM SR record formats, this new VTR provides an ideal solution for professionals requiring multi-format flexibility. DVCam & MiniDV decks

Sony DSR-1500   $200/day

We got the DSR-1500 so that we could do all of the conversions to DVCAM that we needed in a small form factor. It's great for getting an SDI transfer to or from Digibeta and even either of our HD decks through their SD SDI ports. Of course, it can still be used as a straight-forward firewire deck for miniDV or DVCAM projects.

Sony DSR-60   $150/day

Our DSR-60 is a playback deck; both analog (composite and component) and digital (SDI) playback is possible, insuring high-quality image transfer to your editing system or platform. A standard 9-pin remote control quickly and easily connects with most editing controls. The DSR-60 plays both DVCam and MiniDV tape stock.

Sony DSR-45   $200/day

Our DSR-45 is a playback deck; analog playback is possible through traditional analog delivery (composite and component outputs) and via a firewire port. A 9-pin standard remote control connects with most editing controls. The DSR-45 plays both DVCam and MiniDV tape stock.

Sony DSR-85   $250/day

Our DSR-85 has both analog (composite and component) and digital (SDI and AES/EBU) recording and playback possibilities. Further, our DSR-85 has the optional Time Code Generator/ Reader Board and 9-pin Remote capabilities, insuring highly accurate tape layback and playback. The DSR-85 plays and records to both DVCam and MiniDV tape stock.

Betacam SP deck rental

Sony UVW-1800   $200/day

The Betacam SP format has quickly established itself as the preferred format for analog component recording and playback in the broadcast and production industry. The UVW-1800 is an editing recorder and playback deck with a 9-pin port through which the deck can be controlled by editing systems for insert and assemble editing. Component and composite inputs and outputs are available, offering the UVW-1800 as an economical and easy means by which to enter the Betacam SP format. If you need to rent a Betacam SP deck, this model will give you good results at an attractive price.

Digital Betacam deck rental

Built in D/A and A/D converters for both audio and video allow the DVW-A500 to quickly and seamlessly incorporate into current analog set-ups. For those editing systems and platforms capable of reading and writing SDI and AES/EBU media, the DVW-A500 offers superior picture recording and playback through digital circuitry. Recording is permissible on Digital Betacam tape stock only. It plays back Betacam SP and Digital Betacam tapes in both analog (composite and component) and digital (SDI and AES/ EBU) formats for both audio and video.
