19 Jun Adobe Partners With Studio B Films To Launch Creative Cloud 2014 – Live From NY!

Adobe brought us in to make a stinger video to help kick-off the Creative Cloud 2014 event in New York. They had commissioned some incredible artists to contribute artwork that, when assembled into a mosaic, reveals the shape of their CC logo. This collaborative piece became a framework within which we showcased some of the killer new features in Creative Cloud. Inspired by the mosaic structure, our edit became a fast-paced, split-screen montage with glimpses of amazing art and artists doing great work. We finished the piece with an assembly of the final logo mosaic which transitions to an electrifying…

06 Mar The Elements of Viral Video Marketing

Viral videos are a holy grail of marketing strategies. They get passed along by the public independently of your efforts, and spread your marketing message far and wide. And it’s common sense that a consumer will pay more attention to a video shared to them by a friend, than one shared by a faceless company they don’t have any personal connection to. 17 Feb GoPro – Great Things Come in Small Packages

When considering what equipment to use to create the highest quality content, we often think bigger is better. 10 Feb Our Favorite Places to Film in the San Francisco Bay Area: Part 2

HBO’s new show, Looking, features the San Francisco Bay Area as a major supporting character, highlighting Oakland, the City, and even the USS Hornet. Unlike most shows set in the Bay Area, Looking is actually shot on location, (see Berkeley-based, Parenthood, shot in Southern California). The show does a great job at capturing over 40 locations in the Bay, showcasing some of the grittier areas and straying away from the typical postcard portrayal of the area, according to the East Bay Times. Here at Studio B Films, we have been shooting in the Bay Area for over 20 years, and continue to…

05 Feb Studio B’s Five Favorite Super Bowl XLVIII Commercials

The 2014 Super Bowl commercials have been the topic of conversation in the Studio B office throughout the week. We all watched the game, but we’re really watching for the multimillion dollar promotions that make us laugh, groan, and maybe even shed a tear… That’s  going a little far, but here are the top six commercials selected by the Studio B Films team. 1. With a handful of parents in the office, many of us could relate to the parental sixth sense of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis Ad. It also turned us onto this catchy Bruno Mars song. 2. The…
